Fantasy Goat
FantasyGoat.livejournal.com is a website of funny, interesting, perverted, or otherwise compelling photos that Jeremy Wilson finds on the internet."Fantasy Goat" is short for "Nasal Co-Heasive
Fantasy Goat", a nickname a good friend gave Jeremy over a decade ago. Fantasy Goat's sexier than
"nasalgoat," and Jeremy is all about the ladies. Were you just bored one day? How did it all start?I signed up on LiveJournal in 2004 to keep track of some friends, and rather than post boring personal details like everyone else, I decided to just post pictures to amuse myself and the couple of people who friended me. The journal is actually my own journal and not a community or something like that, and I've never advertised it anywhere. How it became popular I have no idea, but these are my crosses to bear.
But really, aren't there enough weird photo blogs? I used to think everyone else had already seen most of the pictures I posted, but it turns out not everyone has all day to surf the web and look at photos and more often than not, I'm on the bleeding edge of such things. Go figure.
What are some of the blogs/websites you visit? I have a strict daily ritual I follow. First is all the webcomics I read, such as Wapsi Square, Penny Arcade, PvP, Real Life, and a bunch on Keenspot. After that, it's Slashdot, Boing Boing, LiveJournal and Gigposters. If there's still time after that I hit up Plastic and memepool. After lunch I do a bit of work and search out photos.
When you're not on the internet you're... Setting up my new screen printing studio, Popfuel (
popfuel.com), making my own liquor, working on my '70 Plymouth Fury convertible, hanging out with friends watching old movies, or resting quietly at home and watching TV with my cat, Sally. After 8 hours on the computer at work I tend to turn it off when I get home.
You got a girlfriend? When was the last time you got laid? No, I am currently single, although I do date quite a bit. I lead a very Playboy lifestyle, what with my motel bed "relaxing massager" that takes quarters and all. The ladies have no complaints.
Are there any pictures too "bad" to post? What's taboo these days? After I topped 2,000 regular readers I did find myself considering whether what I was posting might be "too much." There's nothing that's really "taboo" but I tend to not post things that are overly disgusting or pornographic, but most of the stuff I find that I like is fairly "safe" in that regard anyway.
I post the truly horrific crime scene photos and whatnot to another journal called "thats_so_gross". Naturally the general reaction in that group is "ew."
