We Love Our Contributors
We'd like to give a little recognition to two of our most special and talented contributors. These people are killing it. And you should recognize, fool.
Tabitha Esther wears many hats, none of which fit very well. She is a graduate student at the University of Southern California where she splits her time between oceanographic research and teaching science to people who hate science. She also plays roller derby for the Los Angeles Derby Dolls under the moniker Paris Killton.
She writes a blog called
Get Your Science On! where you can find many amusing discussions about sciency things including geology, oceanography, chemistry, and love.
Just kidding about that last one.
Mazie Speakman hails from Pittsburgh, PA and arrived in New York 800-odd days ago after five years in the hills of West-by-God Virginia (which is not actually the same as Virginia).
When not scribbling for
Chief, she sings backup and dabbles in lyric writing, makes messes that sometimes resemble good clothing design, styles the occasional photo shoot, works in the blogosphere, plays frisbee with her dog bailey (the coolest mutt on the planet), digs on honkytonk, and dreams of new ways to make her hair bigger.
She runs on Mazie-time, a lesser known way of measuring the day. It tends to be 15-20 minutes behind widely accepted time keeping.
